Permalink Reply by Hope Crawford on July 10, 2011 at 1:35am That's exactly what I do! It works for the most part, and gets rid of my dreams. I don't like dreaming much.why dont you stay up for over 24 hours, like man through the day when you normally sleep and then you should be tired at night and might be able to sleep?

Permalink Reply by Insomniac90046 on January 25, 2012 at 1:19pm i go to bed at 6-7 am and i have figured out that light is every important if your place is to bright its harder to get in the sleeping mode because usually after a sleepless night when you see the light yoou feel a relief that the day has come finally or you get angry for another night of sleeplessness
Actually, I find the opposite... When the light comes through my red curtains, it cast a glow across my entire room.... For some reason it relaxes me and makes me feel comfortable.... Normally I can get a good hour or two of sleep then... But I'm busy at that time of the day most of the time...

Permalink Reply by Hope Crawford on March 12, 2012 at 6:13am Probably so.x) I'm assuming it's a psychological thing I have. I definitely don't try to "jack up" my sleeping schedule.D: I really don't know if normal exists or not, but I do wish you the best of luck in getting to sleep. The "you can sleep when you're dead" thing definitely wasn't made up by someone who had trouble sleeping...

Permalink Reply by Stan C on March 14, 2012 at 11:12am I know exactly what you mean, I'm in the same boat. I don't have insomnia or at least I don't think I do, but I do find it impossible to fall asleep before everyone else or before 4am. To me, night time is more invigorating, there's something about the quiet and serenity that I find refreshing, and almost inspiring so I much rather stay awake during the late hours. I know exactly what you mean. For the most part, I'm quite happy with the solitude but every now and then, it gets lonely. To battle the loneliness, I write, read, draw, or anything that helps me feel like I'm communicating to someone else even if it's just a piece of a paper. I suppose it's just a matter of finding a healthy way to either cope with the lifestyle or to change it. I'd never change it in a million years though.
